Charles Aznavour. Let’s Love. Harmony H 30569, 1971(?). (on vinyl, from a thrift store)
Great (if corny) singing, great melodies (especially the title track), and great (and often groovy) orchestral arrangements. It’s unreasonably melodramatic, but for some reason a thick French accent let’s one get away with a lot in that area. The biggest problem is it’s only 9 songs, at a total of about 23 minutes. How does 23 minutes pass for an LP? Where’s side two?
