Jesus, son of Eleazar, son of Sirach. The Book of Sirach, from The New American Bible. Catholic Book Publishing Company, 1992 (edited 1970, written c. 200 BC). 53 pages.
Inconsistent. Some of it’s pretty good. Some of it’s amusingly bad. Some of it’s boring. Mostly, I’m just glad to finally be through the “Wisdom” books; hopefully the prophets will have more of a sense of narrative.
